Nittany Valley VFC Receives $500 Grant
Mon. Jun 28th 2010

On Monday, June 28th the Nittany Valley VFC was proud to once again receive yet another Grant. EMS Captain Butler has been working over the last several months with our new Water Service provider, Pennsylvania American Water, on not only securing grant funds, but finally getting some new, and foremost working fire hydrants in our first due.

At this current point in time, the Nittany Valley VFC has no current working hydrants. We are proud to say that we received a $500 grant from Pennsylvania American Water, and would like to say "Thank You" to Joe Woodward for his effort in securing the funds for us.

We look forward to working along with Pennsylvania American Water over the next several months, or years for that matter to make better solutions towards our firefighting efforts.

Fire Company President Albert Fravel receives the Check from Pennsylvania American Water's Joe Woodward.
