Our Social Hall can accommodate up to 200 people. Rental includes the use of Tables, Chairs, Restrooms and a large cooler.
When renting and using, please abide by all rules and respect all property. Failure to do so could result in injuries and extra charges. The tables and chairs may be rearranged but no other furniture or equipment may be moved for any reason.
Any comments, special requests or complaints of the renter should be addressed to the Officer in Charge of Hall Rentals.
FEES
$100 - Reservation-Damage-Clean Up Deposit
- Reservation fee will be forfeited if canceled after 30 days of contract date. All cancellations must be received in writing.
- The clean up deposit check will be returned to the Renter if the Hall is returned in satisfactory condition.
Showers, Parties, Etc.
$50 - for half day rentals
Weddings, Family Reunions, Etc.
- $150 - (2) Day rental (1 evening & 1 whole day)
- $200 - (3) Day rental (1 evening & 2 whole days)
- $50 - per day for additional time
Nittany Valley Volunteer Fire Company Member Fees
- Active and lifetime members are granted use of the social hall free one (1) time per year.
- Social members of the fire company will be charged as determined by the active members.
KITCHEN USE
- $10 per hour for Kitchen use with the money being paid to the individual donating their time on the day of the event.
KITCHEN RULES
- A Fire Company member must be in the kitchen during rental time. That individual will not be expected to work for you. Their purpose if to ensure the stoves are properly lit and everything is returned to it's proper place.
- Dishes, pans, roasters, and coffee pot are all available for your use.
- The Renter is responsible for all clean-up, including mopping the floors if necessary.
SOCIAL HALL RULES
- No Fire Company property is to be removed from the walls or left outside. Nothing is permitted to be moved except for tables and chairs.
- No one is permitted in other areas of the Firehouse for any reason.
- Decorations may be used, but must be removed as part of the clean-up.
- When the rental is over, all tables must be wiped clean, the chairs pushed under the tables, and the floor swept and spills or sticky areas should be mopped. Shut all windows, turn all the lights off and contact the Officer in Charge to lock the building.
- We supply a mop, bucket, broom and dustpan.
- All trash must be removed from the Building and placed in the dumpster to the rear of the building.
- Should the renter fail to clean-up as stated, the clean-up deposit (part or all) will be withheld at the discretion of the Officer in Charge.
- Parking is restricted to the south side of the Building away from the Apparatus bays. We must be able to get emergency equipment out of the bays immediately in addition to allowing space for our firemen to park. Violators blocking emergency apparatus will be towed at the owner's expense.
- A 30-day notice, in writing, must be given prior to cancellation of the contract or reservation deposit will be forfeited.
- It is the responsibility of the Renter to abide by these rules.
